Walking the "Red Line" is the artist's attempt to find balance during a time of change in his kibbutz home.

The performance piece “L’lo Reshut– Without Domain” is the first stage in Ken Goldman’s current socially engaged public art series. The project in which the artist explores and reacts to the drastic changes in ideology and lifestyle rocking the foundations of his kibbutz home.

In this project, Goldman chose to walk the Eruv ( a symbolic Rabbinic device used to unite individual domains into one shared domain) in a symbolic attempt at the reunification of his community and its members after they voted to no longer preserve the classic collective kibbutz lifestyle it had maintained for nearly 70 years.
