Poland On My Mind

Seems that this year is my “Poland” year and I am anxious  to go back and start working on future projects .

The big project in Poland  this year was the second monument I designed for the destroyed / “erased” cemetery of Kaluszyn !

This monument inspired by the “negative “space of the first monument –  consisting  of three solid columns covered in the over 5000 names of the Jews killed by the Nazis in the once overwhelmingly Jewish Town of Kaluszyn –  80 kilometers from Warsaw.

The second project is my collage contribution to the Krackow Jewish Festival where I am showing works in a pop up gallery together with the works of the other amazing artists I was privileged to work  alongside in the “Living Under Water” project focusing  on climate change – while in Venice – as a guest of “Bet Venezia”
